Leslie Scott
WHAT'S IN THEIR SMOKER?
Leslie Roark Scott, better known as the Barbeque Princess, started cooking competitive BBQ in 1989 alongside her father, Legendary Pitmaster Garry Roark. In 1992, she was the first female to win a Memphis in May sanctioned Grand Championship.
Today, Leslie is the owner and chef of Ubons Restaurant in Yazoo City, MS. She and the Ubons BBQ Team cooks in competitions and festivals all over the country including The Big Apple BBQ Block Party, Memphis in May World Championship BBQ, The Jack Daniels World Championship, Windy City Smoke Out, Denver BBQ Festival, Que in the Lou, Hogs for the Cause, Kentucky State BBQ Festival and From the Ashes Idaho.
