Christmas Brisket Beans
Ingredients
- ½ cup Vegetable Oil
- ½ cup Table Salt
- 2 TBSP Grinded Pepper
- ¼ cup Garlic Powder
- ¼ cup Onion Powder
- ½ of Whole Onion
- 1qt Brisket Trim
- 14 cups of Mayocoba Beans (wash beans several times before use)
- Cilantro (for garnish)
- Diced tomatoes (for garnish)
- Cotija cheese (for garnish)

Directions
- Add 12 qt’s of water to a large pot. Bring to boil over Royal Oak Charcoal.
- Add ingredients listed below in boiling water.
- ½ cup Vegetable Oil
- ½ cup Table Salt
- 2 TBSP Grinded Pepper
- ¼ cup Garlic Powder
- ¼ cup Onion Powder
- ½ of Whole Onion
- 1qt Brisket Trim
- 14 cups of Mayocoba Beans (wash beans several times before placing them in boiling water)
- Allow beans to boil until beans are soft and done. Then remove from grill.
- Serve beans in a bowl and garnish with cilantro, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of cotija cheese.
